Since I bought my Interceptor it's been having issues with the fuel gauge. When I go to fill up, the highest it reaches is 3/4 of a tank and this last time I looked to be near empty but only put in 3.5 gallons before the pump clicked stop. I cleaned the ground on the fuel pump, but suspect it is mostly likely a fuel pressure regulator or an in-tank float issue.

I have a fuel pressure gauge, is there a connector at the fuel rail by the injectors to be able to check the pressure? I'd prefer to make sure the fuel pressure regulator is functioning (does it use the same regulators as a Festiva also?) The other night I was driving home from work (tank was "low", prior to my 3.5 gal fill up) and rounding a fairly tight curve my engine seems to start to stall, leading me to think the fuel system isn't being properly pressurized. I've been trying to run out all the old gas, but it's hard to when apparently there's still gallons of it remaining in my tank. lol. I'm waiting to get the tank down to almost empty and will put in a new fuel filter to get as much junk as I can into the old filter.

So far I'm really enjoying driving and working on it!
