Joyce, I hope you get your Cushy running soon..As far as Solar, you may be
out of luck with such a small surface area upon which to mount Photovoltaic
panels..Refrigeration takes a lot of 'juice' to run the compressor..Would
you consider a (gasp) gas-powered generator to run it? Honda makes some
very efficient/quiet gen.s like the EU 2000 that could run a small freezer
unit. Otherwise, plug it in at night & get a well-insulated chest. Most
Ice Cream Trucks dont actually have a freezer on-board...just good
insulation.
BTW theres a GO-4 Ice Cream Truck on evilBay somewhere back East IIRC. Good
luck on your venture!
