[Silly Little Cars] another interceptor

So, thanks for all your advice... I did go and check it out. It seemed in
great shape and ran really well. I came *this* close to buying it, got the
cash out and everything, but pressed him about the motorcycle registration.
He had a story about it that didn't seem to add up, and so in the end I was
uneasy about buying it and walked away. Basically, it *was* an auto plate on
it, and the registration title said "Automobile." Yet, HE said it was
registered as a motorcycle and that was just a mix-up. He went on to say
that at the auctioneer, they registered it as a motorcycle, and when he
registered with the DMV they registered it as a motorcycle and said he
needed "special plates," but sent him a regular one
anyway...Yeah...something like that. Seemed like there was some holes he
left in the story and the last thing I wanted was to throw down $2500 only
to come back, have to register it as an auto, and then have it fail a smog
test and then be stuck with a vehicle I can't use.

I think I did the right thing....something just didn't smell right.

Was this being too cautious? Should I go back???
