I agree with Dan.  I have a 97 with about 40K mi on it.  It looks like it has an auto plate on it vs the motorcycle plate, though.  The motorcycle reg has been the most complicated thing for me.  I'd double check that he has a valid motorcycle title for it.  If not, its a good negotiating point.

Go there, drive it, if it seems good, grab it FAST. Offer 2500 but 2750 is fine too. It is the right deal. Go now. Don't wait or it will be gone. They don't come up too often.
