Hi Lia,
Normally you can adjust the idle by turning the idle speed adjustment
screw. The idle speed**adjusting screw is located on the side of the
throttle body. You can find the the throttle body by following the
accelerator cable to its end. As far as the forks go the seals might be
blown. You can rebuild them for much much cheaper than retrofitting
them. I rebuilt mine and put an airbag in to help. I hate to say it but
this group doesn't have much activity. Try going to the GO-4
Interceptor owners Group on facebook and join. There are quite a few
