Daphne, I agree with Charley's assessment 100%. Until recently I owned a
'later' water-cooled Cushman and drove it pretty regu;larly for a few years.
It was able to comfortably travel at 40-45 mph, but fortunately I never
had to stop suddenly.
Plus one for a GO-4 (assuming you can either fix it yourself, or find a
willing mechanic)
