San Francisco DMV
Get ready for stupidity Meghan.
The Go4 is street legal and considered a "motorcycle".
It took me 8 months to get mine registered. There were numerous fools at
the DMV that kept claiming that the vehicle was an "off road vehicle".
They revoked my registration and then gave it back to me.
You need to find the "engine #" to register it as a motorcycle.
The engine number can be found imprinted on the plastic around your air
filter... there is a combination of numbers involving the engine # printed
on that plastic part.
Go to the CA Highway Patrol office and have them inspect your Go4 for the
"engine #".
It doesn't stop there... the San Francisco metermaids will deliberately
give you tickets because they think it's funny.
Also local dumb people will vandalize your Go4 if you don't paint it
because they are convinced that metermaids work all night long.
Contact Dyan Allen about insuring your Go4 in California.
