Steve,

The AC system is based on pressure, not volume. Keep pumping it in until the needle is in the green arc on the gauge.

Funny you don't remember asking it.

You must have never taught High school students.

when I asked the question ,I knew the answer and was being sarcastic, should have used the green font, I guess. JW

Sorry to butt in here rather than start a new conversation, but does anyone
have the specs. (capacity - ounces of R134 for full charge) for the stock
    A/C system in a 2004 Interceptor II with Hyundai parts? I know it's a
longshot because most of you guys are on the West Coast and don't need an
a/c, but it's a life saver here in San Antonio.

    Thanks,

there's ever been Geo/Suzuki 3 cylinder motors. I know the early models of
Hyundai had a 1.0 4 cylinder, but now the newest come with the Hyundai 1.0l
3 cylinder. Does anyone know which year they changed from the 4 to 3?

engine should be able to mount up (wiring and computers are a different
story). I've always wanted to drop in a 1.6l Turbo motor in mine.... Perk of
the Ford Go-4's is the individual universal type gauges used!
    >
    >In regards to the Hyundai/Kia 3 cylinder motors, I'm not sure what model
transmission they use (it is a 4 speed automatic). If the transmission would
accept it, would be pretty sweet (if you could find one) to put in a Ford
    Eco-Boost 1.0l cylinder crate motor (it's a Hyundai based motor). I would
think you'd have to do a whole new wire harness and instrument cluster
though IF it were able to bolt up to the transmission.

"remanufactured" are junkyard assemblies that have been tested and cleaned
up. I've seen these priced around $350 from an auto parts store; $35 from a
salvage yard. I carry a used spare I tested on the car when I bought it,
along with a wrench to replace it in case it ever goes out enroute. This is
one of those items that usually gives little or no warning before complete
    failure.
