Its been my understanding that us Interceptors are too long, but that by giving out a ticket they're removing their own ability to park perpendicular, so they never do it.

My guess is a neighbor complained?

I'm interested to see what happens here.  I've never gotten a ticket for this and I park perpendicular to the curb downtown almost every day.  That being said, I think there is a limit on how far you can extend into the street and was told before that the cushmans are within that limit, but our Interceptors are too long.  At the end of the day, SF is broke and handing out tickets left and right.

Ya no problem...show them your reg. and explain you situation you should be fine...unless...it has anything to go with your vehicle being to far into the road. Ive gotten these before and got the fine reversed.

Hey everyone,

This morning I came out to my little yellow Interceptor, which was parked perpendicular in a metered spot, to find at ticket on the window, with the
 reason stated as being in
 violation of "Over 18" from curb R/S."  Um, hello......? I was parked against the curb, just perpendicular. Thought this was totally legal?   I intend to fight it, but wtf?  Has this happened to any of you?
