Hm. Ok well thanks for the info everyone. Will definitely contest it... I was in a metered spot ( at night).. Maybe they didn't like me taking up part of a spot (I had parked next to a scooter at the time). I was, however, still within the 'T'--both perpendicularly and parallell. I thought that was also a rule... And the violation is for being more than 18" from the curb... Not too far into the road... I've been ticketed in the same spot before with my friend's scooter-- That time it was for unpaid meter but I had plenty of time still on it when ticketed! Even when I went to move it it still had time. I contested it, and they wrote back saying it was a valid ticket that still had to be paid-- but get this-- the payment due was '$0.00.". So yeah my guess is the meter
Maids were looking for something to ticket in hopes that they don't get contested and these vehicles are easy targets?
I will keep you posted on my results....
