Oh man that sucks.
Why would you need the original citation? You can go online and punch in your license plate and get a list of tickets, each of which will say exactly what the printed citation does...
I've seen people in a little back office at the dpt place on Bryant, contesting tickets. I'd print the ticket and go there and request to talk to someone, since at this point it basically sounds like they're just fucking with you.

To contest it further, they require that I have the original citation, which of course, I don't. So I guess I pay the $50.

I asked what the ticket was for, they said "blocking the sidewalk," nevermind the fact that the sidewalk was one of those giant, residential-sized ones where the driveways are actually real driveways and the sidewalks literally have about 4-5 feet starting after the driveway and before the street. When I asked how in the world they were blocking the sidewalk, with the car parked all the way in the driveway and the sidewalk beginning behind it, they pointed out the fact that the back of the bumper was "past their property" and was hence "blocking the sidewalk.'
