I'm sorry nobody answered your questions that should be findable on the web,
but since I'm wired on coffee I'll try to answer them!

Er, was it something I said? These are pretty fundamental
questions. The website associated with this list suggests subscribing for
info on these cars.

	Hi,

I'm part of what no doubt is an invasion of new list members dur to
the recent WSJ article. But I come by my interest a bit more innocently,
perhaps, since over the last few weeks I've been mulling over the
practicality of these cars, due to some recent health-related issues over my
ability to drive. I have a tone of questions and hope the list might not
mind taking a crack at some of them.

	1. Are there any other models similar to the GO-4?

Yes, there are other 3-wheeled vehicles out there. Google has plenty of pics
and maybe Google will sell you one.

	2. Is the Go-4 Interceptor suitable for extensive street driving,
meaning could I reliably drive 40-50 mile round trips 3 times a week in
them?

Yes. These are metermaid carts. Have you seen a meter maid drive around?
Man, can they drive around all day! Like non-stop! It's crazy!! It's like a
job or something!

	3. What is it's realistic top speed?

That depends on surface tension, but if my GO-4 Intercepter actually had
some gauges, I bet mine goes 40 something MPG. Less when under water.

	4. are any of these SLCs capable of holding more than one
passenger?

Yes.

	5. Who can I best turn to to customize them (for storage, catering,
bikes, etc)?

Probably yourself; that's what most people do. Unless you are rich like me,
then you take your cush to Earl Scheib to get painted. Cause I'm pimp.

	6. I'm in California; do I need to have a motorcycle license to
drive these?

No.

	7. What sorts of accessories are popular?

Drink cup holders were all the rage last year when Oprah put one into her
Cushman.

	8. How comfortable is the seating? Is it possible to install more
comfortable seats?

I love my Union Worker Grade seat in mine. But I have a tight cute butt.
Your butt may be different.

	9. Can these cars tow small trailers etc?

Maybe. I've dragged a midget tied to a rope before, so I guess so.

	10. How many miles are they good for lifetime? Are there any
danger points like say 50k for some domestic US cars?

No idea. I hear Hummers can last FOREVA. But I dont own a Hummer.

	11. What sorts of general security issues are involved with these
cars (hot wiring etc.)?

I use the Club. Seriously.

	12. Are they nooisy to drive? How is the ride in general?

With lube the ride is smooth!

A lot of questions, I know, but I'm a complete newbie. Any help
much appreciated.

glad to help! Sorry for the delay!

	regards,
