that is neither licensed or insured driven by someone you don't know? Can you
imagine if he caused or was involved in a serious or deadly accident?
Particularly if the injured parties claimed it was the operational condition of
the vehicle that caused or contributed to the accident.

<DIV>Sure, go ahead, keys in it. (his rides sitting on the drive so he’ll be
back).</DIV>
<DIV>Well, he was gone for about 30 mins, but then he shows back up, ON FOOT
! </DIV>
<DIV>What the &%”# !! Where’s my scoot?</DIV>
<DIV>Turns out, it’s at the end of my driveway. Smoking and erupting
whatever fluids it has left.</DIV>
<DIV>Seems it started making a “funny” noise, but he kept going till the
“odd” smell started.</DIV>
<DIV>He then stops, and looks under it, at what he thinks was oil or
antifreeze running from under it. At this point he’s, and I quote: “I never
did go over 40.”</DIV>
<DIV>Now this “car guy” (his words, not mine) decides to drive it back to my
shop, but it died on him at the driveway. </DIV>
<DIV>Suddenly as I start down the drive he hands me the keys, gets in his
car and hauls butt.</DIV>
<DIV>I stand there for second not really understanding what just
happened. And to make matters worse, I’ve got no clue who the heck he
was.</DIV>
<DIV>So, I go down the driveway and lo’ and behold it’s sitting there
with the tranny still in “L”! Guess he didn’t get it over 40,
huh.</DIV>
<DIV>Pop the hood. No screw top on the water res and antifreeze steaming
everywhere. Do you think it got warm?</DIV>
<DIV>But that’s OK cause it’s mixin just fine with the smell/smoke of HOT
motor oil. Well, it did leak have some oil left, just not in the
engine.</DIV>
<DIV>Pulled (dragged) it to the pad out side the shop doors and there she
sits.</DIV>
<DIV>I’ll work up the courage to take a good look tomorrow.</DIV>
<DIV>Probably not the dudes fault. Like your buds stuff/mower that doesn’t
break till you borrow it, ya know.</DIV>
<DIV>Maybe I’ll fix it or part it out.</DIV>
<DIV>Thought you folk might like a good giggle too. After all, it’s just a
toy right?</DIV>
