<DIV>BEWARE ! All chemical leak stoppers try to make the seal soft again and/or
to “plug” small gaps or holes.</DIV>
<DIV>The problem is they will soften ALL seals and try to plug ANY hole from
passing fluids. Think small oil passages and lifters.</DIV>
<DIV>I’d recommend replacing the seal.</DIV>
<DIV>May cost some now, but could well save major issues down the line.</DIV>
<DIV>8000+ hrs. is a lot of idling time or switch on time at least.</DIV>
<DIV>So it maybe a good time to give the engine a good look see anyway.</DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>Dont assume the 'low' mileage-the Hour-meter is a better indication
of the actual use. 2000 hours(just a number)
<DIV>is like 80,000 miles on the engine. Different sources show different
numbers, but it is surprising.
YMMV</DIV></DIV></DIV><BR>_______________________________________________<BR>Silly
