60 or 70 mph in these is ONLY for long straight roads with little or no crosswind. Don't brake or try to avoid squirrels at any speed (which is what happened to the former owner of my machine.) She didn't get hurt because there is a complete roll cage as the frame. We drove it home (after uprighting it) with a little sheet metal damage, no mirror and a broken side window, $100 put it back together and I'm loving it. I wished these ( I have a '99 GO-4) plugged in to a OBDC system as I have some rough running issues at times. The connectors are not standard. I've changed the throttle position sensor as the resistance didn't jive with the manual. I have an O2 sensor also to change. Just going in the dark.

Hey Rich. Try unhooking the speedometer cable. If I remember right thats
what I had to do on an older GO-4 I had once. If that works you can use a
cheap GPS for your speedometer. Hope that works for you. If that doesn't
work let me know and I'll give it some more thought. I may have had to
unplug a couple of wires at the transaxle to accomplish this. Too many
cars/motorcycles over the years and I'm getting forgetfull :-) Dan
I FOUND IT!!!! Yeaaaaa!!!! It was in a metal box under my seat. I cut the black wire and presto, I was just going 60 without issue. Now it's time to tune this Mazda engine and get it so it purrs, it was sitting for almost 2 years before I got it so its a little gummed up and a lot rusted but I wanted to make sure I liked it before dumping any more money into it. So far I have $1,600 in it and I was offered $750 to have the body work done with fresh paint. It also either needs front shock oil or replacement front shocks (I did the back already) and ill have a good buggy except for a stereo! Ill keep you updates on the progress of my silly little car! Thanks everyone!
