...or a car (you would have to go to the referee for this and get a permanent smog exemption)!!!!<br>shlomo and i went to the sf dmv last monday and spoke with the manager there. she said that she had received a memo from sacramento a few weeks ago about this and so now our situation should be resolved. so many of us were going in there that sacramento finally dealt with it. please note that you will need an engine number to make the process easy. i highly suggest that you stamp on your own number to streamline the process. there really is no engine number to be found. those who have been through this part of the problem have probably all solved it in the old fashioned way.... confusion! but really, you will find it much easier to just add a number. i asked the certifier about this after i convinced him to use some random number on the air cleaner, and he shrugged his shoulders. he basically told me to not push it and just keep picking the random numbers. trying to escalate this issue was a waste of time. <br>
