Yeah I'd say these are best at slower speeds, but anything short of full on highway speeds would be fine. In other words, they're city cars. 

But one issue I found with them is that they're noisy and smelly, since you're sitting right next to the uncovered engine. Definitely not a deal breaker, but a factor.
