Also keep in mind that if you have aftermarket rear wheels, you'll only be able to rotate them left side to right side. Stock tire size on my stock wheels was P155/80r13. Easiest way to find them is shop tire store websites.

Just in case she needs a little more assistance than that, here’s an excerpt from another member’s email concerning the hardest part of doing the rotation, if you are going to do it yourself:

This how I remove the front tire:

loosen the 2 axle caps supports (1/2 moon shaped), loosen the tire lugs,
loosen the 2 caliper bolts (large bolts), jackup the vehicle, remove the caliper bolts,
remove the tire lugs, drop the axle, push the tire to the right so that there is space to remove the brake caliper,
remove the brake caliper, tie the caliper, remove tire.
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS:
Axle Cap Bolts: 50-55 lbs/ft.
Wheel Bolts: 70-80 lbs/ft.

If you do not care to or do not have the skill/equipment to do the rotation, I have seen some members here talk about the mechanics they use is San Francisco. Surely one of them will post the name and telephone number here so that you may give them a call.

Just jack up the scooter and swap the tires...

Hello -

I am sending this query out again because I have not heard from anyone in SF. I did hear from someone in Texas who kindly reminded me to rotate my front tire too.

Okay, I believe my tires need rotating (or perhaps replacing) and with the rain coming having proper traction is important.

Can you recommend a place to do the rotation? For new tires?

Thanks, Yvette
