I had no problems with state farm in Illinois (although I only got liability) for a Go4. I have a cousin who is a state farm agent in California who said it shouldn't be a problem and she would welcome the business if anyone wants her info.

I will weigh in on this. I got the best deal through Allstate and it was a lot cheaper than progressive.

You must have a direct military connection like active duty, veteran, or dependant to get any insurance period. If you are qualified then you're welcome to direct them to look up my policy by name as I've had coverage on my Go-4 for some 6 or 7 years now. Perhaps it helps that I also have other insurance there as well and my auto policy is multi-car for $300,000 per my choice. But it might be harder for them to say no to you and have to explain why they say yes to me.

These are just my results and I know some of you have successes where I have not, but it looks like the ability to get full coverage is getting better. The insurers consider the vehicle a custom trike so the premiums are a bit stiff.
