I think the DMV branches in the Bay Area are more used to these 3-wheelers
as there is a plethora

of them in the area. Santa Barbara-not so much

Stay away....I waited for over a month for a guy to get one into his name
in Oregon it was with the DMV for 3 or more weeks, it is not as easy as
walking in and paying and going home with a title.

I didn't have any trouble registering mine at the sf DMV. Just plan on
spending a couple hrs there. I also got insured through McGraw and they were
on it and very easy to communicate with.
