[Silly Little Cars] Interceptor windshield wiper InOp

I'm having a similar issue but it's a little more odd. I have a pull/push switch on my dashboard that gives power to the wiper controls on the steering column control. If I pull it out to give the wipers power it shuts my engine off but the windshield wipers will work. It's very bizarre and I have no idea how to fix it. It basically shorts the whole thing out except for the wipers. It's a very creative drive in a rain storm! :)

Subject: [Silly Little Cars] Interceptor windshield wiper InOp

My 97 Interceptor's wiper has decided to stop working. I checked the fuse, which was blown and replaced it. The turn signals & headlight switch works, the hazards button works, but moving the wiper stalk doesn't result in anything. What is the best way to figure out if it's the wiper motor that's the problem or if I need a new combination switch? Having an operating windshield wiper would definitely be a good thing to have again... Ha!
