There?s someone on Ebay with a lot of parts for sale. Looks like they?re 
parting one out.
Maybe worth an e-mail to see if they have one. I bought one for my 2004 and 
it wasn?t cheap. $150 plus.
I?ve got all the info someplace. Had to order it from the wiper ass?y OEM 
direct.
Maybe the folks at Westward can help. Understand they are a bit more helpful 
under new management.
What did they mess up?
The gear box on my old one was good, but a bad motor. You may be able to 
repair yours.
If the just messed up the wiper arm and blade ass?y, check with NAPA or 
other parts store as they should be able to find a replacement.

Ok. So some idiot completely destroyed my wiper blade and broke my wiper 
motor trying to vandalized my 2003 Go4.  They thought I was a metermaid 
despite the completely black spray paint job.

Do any of you have a replacement wiper motor?

In terms of the shock/spring email... I think you should avoid "cutting the 
spring". The springs are compressed by hydraulic vices and if you cut the 
spring you may literally die when that spring explodes off.

The shock is easy to replace but the springs that surround the shock are 
always compressed and only work in conjuction with the shock to disburse the 
roads impact.

Please don't cut or mess around with the spring.

  My 97 Interceptor's wiper has decided to stop working. I checked the fuse, 
which was blown and replaced it. The turn signals & headlight switch works, 
the hazards button works, but moving the wiper stalk doesn't result in 
anything. What is the best way to figure out if it's the wiper motor that's 
the problem or if I need a new combination switch? Having an operating 
windshield wiper would definitely be a good thing to have again... Ha!

  I'm having a similar issue but it's a little more odd.  I have a pull/push 
switch on my dashboard that gives power to the wiper controls on the 
steering column control.  If I pull it out to give the wipers power it shuts 
my engine off but the windshield wipers will work.  It's very bizarre and I 
have no idea how to fix it.  It basically shorts the whole thing out except 
for the wipers.  It's a very creative drive in a rain storm!  :)

  I was doing work behind the dash and the wiper worked prior. I can't see 
any issues with wires or connections that might have been caused by moving 
the gauge panel around? Funny fact, my Hour gauge was inop prior but now 
works, yet my wipers which worked prior are now inop. Oy!

  I noticed the rear shock in the engine compartment on my 93' was fully
  compressed so I took it out to replace. Of course it is not made anymore
  but in trying to figure it out the shock itself seems fine but is fully
  compressed when on the vehicle no matter if it were new or not! It would
  seem like it would not work or do anything if installed in compressed
  state. Does anybody know why? What would happen if I cut the bottom clamp
  down a bit, drilled a new hole, and installed a different shock than the
  original that was not compressed after install?

  It sounds to me like your spring is bad. The springs are what support the 
load, not the shocks. All the shocks do is dampen the bounce when you hit 
something. Without shocks you would bounce down the road like a baby 
carriage. Don't mess with the shock, figure out what is wrong with the 
spring.
