Samuel, If it has a license plate it will be easy(if its a Motorcycle plate)
even if its out of registration.
I had a terrible experience getting my 91 Cushman Truckster registered as
the local (Santa Barbara)DMV didnt have a clue. They wanted me to 'smog'
it-even though the Data Plate states its a Motorcycle. After 3 trips to CHP
and 4 trips back to DMV and a trip to the Smog 'Referee', it was Easy Peazy.
Glad I own a trailer or I would have had to rent one 8 times!!
You will have to get an appointment with CHP so they can verify the engine
number(DMV staff wont look around enuff to find it.)
Hang in there-keep smiling at the DMV-dont take no for an answer & ask for
the Manager if you dont get the answer youre looking for.
