thanks for the help! either i was confused or the kat i was talking to was.  any chance anyone has any idea what kind of ignition i'd be looking for with a '89 cush haulster?  should i just try asking the guys at the auto supply? i can't get the ignition out til it's not a good time to get to the auto body...

Its gotta be Turf and Industrial. Thats the only one Ive heard of. Ignition is EASY. You can go to NAPA or any auto parts place. Bring your old one in and they will get you the right one. I got one at Kragen(now OReilly's) for like 15 bucks. Not a specialty part.
