I have an hour meter in my truck. I average around 20 MPH.
My 2001 Cushman that I zip around town in has 5700 miles and 1100 hours. 5mph.
You'd be surprised how much time you spend sitting at lights and it kills the average.

Ha good point. So with the stated stats:
HOURS 2928
MILES 34,848
If he were driving the entire time, that would be an average of 10 mph. Seems like that thing either spent a ton of time idling or with the key otherwise turned, or that's not the original speedometer...
