Allec: Thanks for the plug Directparts new telephone number is 
800-216-4960. Cushman no longer restocks the engine parts for the vehicles with 
the Diahatsu 3 cylinder liquid cooled-engine and this engine was not used on any 
other application in the United States. When existing inventory at Cushman and 
Cushman dealers is exhausted we will be the only source. We are importing parts 
for the Cushman Dealer Network but they are more expensive. When Cushman quit 
using this engine in production they lost their ability to buy parts at OEM 
pricing and decided to quit offering them. We decided to import these 
parts  for the dealers at distributor pricing. Diahatsu also had a 30% 
increase as well so we are sorry if parts seem high priced. We have spend many 
tens of thousands of dollars trying to stock up on the Diahatsu parts. In 
addition to manufacturing the Cushman air-cooled engine we hope we can be of 
further assistance in the future.

          Don't know about service there, but parts are 
          readily available from lots of places. Pasting in from the

            Turf & Industrial in San Jose - 408-727-5660. 
          
            Direct Parts Inc. in Lincoln, NE - directpart at aol.com - 
            402-665-2144. Ron is especially helpful with tracking down parts. 
            These guys bought all the stock when the Cushman factory closed 
            down, plus they're very well-connected. If they don't have what you 
            need, they can probably point you in the right direction.
