Dr Porsche would roll over in his grave over this thing !!!
Truly its a novelty item.
The VW bus was never designed to haul that additional weight !!!!!!!....
Its most likely Vary Vary slow and prey that you can stop it , while
the suspension rides on its bump stop cushions.
At best it might have a top speed of 30 mph UNLOADED...
(WITH NO PASSENGERS)
Forget about driving on anything but flat land.
The add states it has a 2000cc engine.
Gas or diesel?
What transmission and/or transfer case is in it?
What suspension and brake upgrades have been done?
How was the body/frame lengthened?
How rusty is it?
Or better question how was the rust repaired?
It's a 1956 from an island.
I sent an e-mail asking them to elaborate on the engine and drive
train mods and asked for pics.
That should be interesting !!!
Hate to see you all buy something and receive a big surprise.
I do have a good friend in Jakarta, I could contact and perhaps he
could make a trip out to Java to physically look at it. That would be
best!!!!
