I got insured through Geico – the trick was to say it’s a 3 wheeled scooter. That way they don’t need you to have a motorcycle endorsement. The agent knew exactly what a Cushman is, and had ridden one the weekend before.

Its strange, everyone says they get insurance no hassle from all these places, and they all rejected me. Did you tell them its 3 wheels?

I had a little insurance drama: AIG/21st sent me a "roommate exclusion form" that my roomie was supposed to sign, but I didn't send it in on time and the bastards cancelled my Cushman insurance. When I tried to reinstate, they said they don't do Cushmans anymore... Damn mergers.

I wound up calling a bunch of places, includikng Geiko and Progressive and lots of motorcycle and trike places, and none would insure it. Its funny, they'd insure it if it was a trike I personally converted, but not this factory trike. Finally I found this broker who loves Cushmans and she called like 20 places and found one that would insure it. I can't remember the name of the place that's insuring me, but Dian's number (that's how she spells it) is 858-509-4800. I couldn't recommend her any higher for this and any other insurance, super nice woman.

$135/year for both my Cushmi.

It was Michelle, but recent reports have said 21st is no longer insuring Cushmans or 3 wheeled vbehicles in general. AIG bought 21st and apparently ruined a good thing.

i went through 21st century and asked for the motorcycle division.  Alec do you remember the name and number of the person you referred me to?
